Every Kashmir Seasons piece begins on a handloom in the Vale of Kashmir, where Pashmina has been woven for five hundred years. The embroidery — sozni, kani, dorukha — is worked entirely by hand, stitch by stitch, by artisans who learned at their parents' side. No two pieces are alike because no two can be: the hand does not repeat itself. What arrives at your door is not a product. It is the only one of its kind in the world.
