This is a classic Kashmir boteh(paisley) design, that has its roots in the Mogul period from the late 16th century. A timeless classic, this elegant shawl has been created to inspire, using traditional skills that the artist has inherited from his forefathers. A beautiful 100% hand embroidered Kashmir paisley shawl , this classic is fully covered in complex and detailed hand embroidery with paisley and flower motifs making the camel colored Kashmir wool base invisible in the entire body of the shawl. The central pattern on the shawl is a large cruciform flower motif with four petals. There are two pairs of large graceful paisleys, each pair located at the two ends of the shawl.
